With just under seven months to go until European Outdoor Week (EOW), the time has come to start planning the most important week of the year for industry professionals and outdoor enthusiasts alike. From 15 October, registration for all scheduled events will be open at europeanoutdoorweek.com, the event’s completely redesigned website. The new platform gathers and links all the domains dedicated to each event of the week in one place, providing all the relevant information.
The dates to mark in the calendar are 8–13 May 2027, when Riva del Garda and Garda Trentino will become the European capital of outdoor sports and running. At its heart is the OUTDOOR & ORBDAYS trade show, now in its 13th edition, which has become the leading European industry event, attracting professionals and retailers from around the world.

In 2026, there were 11 product categories and 5 community categories, with an eight-member jury and 360 attendees at the awards ceremony.

OUTDOOR & ORBDAYS (10–12 May). This is the leading international meeting point for outdoor and running professionals. Brands, retailers, buyers, media and industry operators come together to showcase the latest product innovations, develop new business opportunities and exchange ideas and experiences. Presentations, previews, product testing, workshops and networking all take place in Riva del Garda, where participants can experience a wide range of outdoor and running disciplines firsthand. For the next edition, the organisers are working on several fronts:
- Exhibition spaces: optimising the pavilion layout with dedicated special areas and two additional pavilions, new signage and virtual navigation inside the exhibition halls, improved management of the main entrance and visitor flows, parking facilities and a more sustainable concept for the exhibition centre.
- Travel and hospitality: confirmation of the complimentary hospitality programme for retailers and enhanced travel support services, including shuttles and transfers from major airports.
- Programme: a new networking party experience, more workshops and a dedicated sustainability area or hub.
- Communication: an improved registration process and related services, stronger communication across all channels and, of course, the new website.
A note for exhibitors: rates will remain unchanged from 2026.
Innovation For Outdoor (11 May). This event brings together startups and investors through a programme focusing on the future of the industry. Selected startups will have the opportunity to present their ideas and compete for the European Outdoor Award for Startups. In 2026, the event welcomed 20 startups and over 40 investors and brands, engaged in panel discussions and networking opportunities.

Outdoor Impact Summit (12–13 May). The summit brings together the entire industry value chain and a community of professionals to address sustainability and its integration with business competitiveness. It provides a platform for discussion and exchange, where participants can share ideas, experiences and practical tools. Its goal: to drive measurable changes for people, businesses, and the planet. In 2026, the summit attracted 220 participants, over 40 speakers, 13 keynotes, 7 workshops and 10 official partners.
