ASICS EMEA closes 2025 with record revenues: running protagonist of growth

19 February 2026

ASICS closes 2025 with the best result ever in the EMEA area. The regional branch of the Japanese brand recorded revenues of 1,204.1 billion euros, an increase of 18.4% compared to 2024, marking a new historical high for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa market.

A figure that confirms the positive momentum of the brand, supported by profitable growth in all categories: Performance Running, Tennis, Indoor, Apparel, and SportStyle, with the latter standing out for a 44% annual increase.

Running in focus

For the running world, the signal is particularly significant. According to Circana data, ASICS confirms its position as the number one brand in the Performance Running Footwear segment in the five main European markets, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom, in the 12 months ending in December 2025.

A result that reflects not only the strength of the product offering but also the growing attention towards technical shoes in the medium-high range, a segment that continues to drive the specialty market.

Growth across all channels

2025 was also positive on the distribution front:

  • +22.5% in the wholesale channel
  • +8.2% in owned retail
  • +10% in e-commerce

All channels contributed to the overall growth, a sign of an increasingly strategic balance between physical and digital presence.

Carsten Unbehaun, CEO of ASICS EMEA, emphasized how the company looks to 2026 with the goal of further accelerating, focusing on innovation and strengthening the brand, in line with the philosophy of “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body“.

For the running world, the numbers tell a clear trend: the performance segment continues to grow and consolidate as a key pillar of the business. And 2026 is shaping up to be another key year for the European running market.
