Everything is ready for the 100 Miglia Monviso 2026, the ultra trail that, from July 17th to 19th, will animate the Po-Bronda and Varaita Valleys and the City of Saluzzo for two days of great running. The objectives of the competition remain the same: taking care of the runners and the places they pass through and offering routes that can satisfy different Italian and international athletes. The 100 Miglia Monviso is supported by some technical partners who, since its inception, have believed in the project. Among these are Mico, Ferrino, Silva, Topo Athletic, Dynasprint Farmacia Santa Maria, and Vibram, the main sponsor of the Terres Monviso running Park. Among the running clubs, there is a new addition: Cavour, which, with its CAI, has been supporting efforts on the paths of Alpetto for years. In addition to the race, there will be many side events that will characterize this new edition, starting with the “Waiting for the 100MM” that will sew the territory, waiting for the big race.
The races
- M160K: definitely the biggest challenge of the event with a whopping 9,000 meters of positive elevation gain over 160 km between Valle Po-Bronda and Valle Varaita, starting and finishing in Saluzzo. At 9 pm on Friday evening, the city center will light up to accompany the start of the adventure of hundreds of ultra-runners.
- M50K changes course: 50 km and about 3,000 meters of elevation gain, crossing between the lower Valle Varaita, high valley, and downhill hills. Starting from Melle, climbing for a few kilometers along the legendary Valle Varaita Trekking, then turning towards Meira Paola and climbing to join the 100. Then, quickly towards Saluzzo.
- M20K, even the short race changes starting point: 20 km and about 1,000 meters of elevation gain from Verzuolo to Saluzzo passing through the trails of Piasco, then San Bernardo del Vecchio and Santa Cristina. A journey through an ancient forest, between churches and woods, to end with 5 km that immerse you in the Italy of 1500, in a Marquisate whose beauty is now valued and protected daily.
- The MONVISO TRAIL closes the event: a 26 km race that will pass through Pian della Regina, Pian del Re, and the shelters Giacoletti, Quintino Sella, and Alpetto. A total of 1,900 meters of elevation gain in front of the Stone King, a race that in over 10 years of history has become the reference for thousands of runners looking for extreme challenges.

The side events
- Waiting for the 100 MM: for this new edition, it was decided to organize a warm-up route that will bring the ultra trail among the houses of those who live in the valleys, with cinema evenings, books, and music.
- The village: the village returns, offering a space with some good music and moments of discussion on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Sustainability and charity
- I Run for Find The Cure – Solidarity, the heart of our running: for the third year, the 100 Miglia Monviso renews its partnership with Find The Cure Italia ODV, confirming the participation of its four races in the Solidarity Circuit of I Run For Find The Cure. The Solidarity Circuit brings together races characterized by a strong spirit of solidarity, aligning forces to carry out a humanitarian project chosen each year, proposed and followed on-site by doctors and volunteers from Find The Cure.
- World Plogging Championship puts green at the center: for the fourth year, the 100 Miglia Monviso renews its participation in the World Plogging Championship. Plogging is a sport for everyone: all you need are a pair of running shoes, a bag, and gloves to do your part!
